Farmers Bank will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24th and remain closed all day Wednesday, Dec. 25th in observance of Christmas. Online and Mobile Banking will still be available. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, Dec. 26th.

Ryan Davelaar is transitioning into his new role as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer

Spencer, IA – May 2024 – Farmers Trust and Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Ryan Davelaar has accepted his new role as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer. Davelaar started his career at Farmers Bank in the Real Estate Lending Department in 2013 and transitioned to Commercial Lending in 2020. Ryan has just over 19 years in banking and finance experience. He will help expand and enhance how Farmers Bank can further assist businesses with their capital and operating needs.

Davelaar is a native of Rock Valley, IA. He attended Northwestern College in Orange City, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business with concentrations in finance and management. Davelaar is very active in the community including being a member and past president of Spencer Hy-Noon Kiwanis, serving on the Bedell Family YMCA Strong Kids Golf Outing committee, previously serving as Chair of the University of Okoboji Winter Games, and being active in the First Presbyterian Church of Spirit Lake.
