Farmers Bank will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24th and remain closed all day Wednesday, Dec. 25th in observance of Christmas. Online and Mobile Banking will still be available. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, Dec. 26th.

Kristy Mills, New Vice President of Mortgage Lending

Spencer, IA – May 2024 – Farmers Trust and Savings Bank is pleased to welcome Kristy Mills (NMLS 561496) to its growing team as the newest Vice President of Mortgage Lending. With an impressive background in the financial industry and a proven track record of leadership, Kristy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team.

In this role, Mills will oversee all aspects of the mortgage lending department, including strategy development, product innovation, and customer service initiatives. With a focus on driving growth and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Kristy came to Farmers Bank with 28 years’ experience in banking, including most recently as a Branch Manager/AVP from a local bank in Iowa. She will help expand and enhance how Farmers Bank can further serve the many area customers with their home financing needs.

Kristy specializes in tailoring mortgage solutions to meet the diverse needs of customers, offering a comprehensive range of loan products including conventional loans, FHA, VA, and more. She is committed to providing personalized guidance throughout the mortgage process and will ensure that customers receive the best-suited financial options.

Kristy was born in Orange City and grew up in Hartley, Iowa. She got her BA degree in Corporate Communications from Buena Vista University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family – especially her 6 precious grandchildren. She and her husband, Greg, also enjoy summers at the Lakes with friends and sun and sand in Florida during the winter. She enjoys volunteering on the Lions Club and Community Memorial Health Center Board.
