Farmers Trust and Savings Bank Announce Jared Gerlock, VP of IT, has earned his Bank Technology Management School Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Spencer, IA - May 2023- Jared Gerlock, VP of IT, successfully completed the 2023 Bank Technology Management School presented by the Graduate School of Banking, held April 17-21 in Madison, WI.
The Bank Technology Management School provides the foundation for new or veteran IT professionals to tie together important issues in IT management with a bottom-line understanding of the business of banking.
Designed specifically for financial services technology and management professionals, this program helps to expand knowledge of the banking industry and related technology and create a network of colleagues with whom to interact and exchange ideas. The Bank Technology Management School provides an opportunity for students to learn from respected industry experts about today's key issues in technology, vendor management, incident response and more.
Jared commented, “I had a great week at Bank Technology Management School. Our instructors’ presentations were very informative, and I also learned a lot from conversations with classmates. The Graduate School of Banking is sponsored and governed by the Central States Conference of Bankers Associations in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Many of the chief officers from each of these member associations, along with representatives of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, serve on the GSB Board of Trustees, the governing body of GSB.
